My car makes a squeeking noise when I

Worn brake pads is my guess. To check them you have to jack up the car and remove a tire. Look at the pads to see how much brake material is left. One pad may be worn more than the other but the thinnest one should have more than 1/8" of an inch. If it is and 1/8" or less change them right away.
I would suggest that you have a local mechanic look at the brake pad thickness for you. I am guessing you have very limited knowledge of brake systems and you may not know what a brake pad is and that"s okay. Don't monkey around with the brakes if you don't know what you are doing, they are too important.
