if its an automatic yes. but if its a manual i highly doubt you can, its a big job to do it on a automatic to i hope you know.
you can add an aftermarket cruise control to an auto or stick shift car but neither is easy look into a good alarm shop they can usually do it but be preparied to pay a pretty penny for it
Joby this is entirely possible, cheap, and easy. Obviously the fellow "GURUS" didn't do their homework. The Toyota Matrix and Corolla share many parts and in many respects are the same car. Here is a procedure for the Matrix that is exactly the same for the Corolla. http://matrixowners.com/?showtopic=71247 This will work for all 9th generation Corollas. You can do this Joby ! Step by step with pictures.
I have worked in the sales for Toyota for ten years and consult with service advisors and technicians all the time. You always have to consider if this will void your warranty. Even something as small as cruise control. Remember what systems cruise affects--- electrical, throttle. Ask your Toyota service advisor (if they are the honest trustworthy types)-- how often they perform this add on? If toyota would advise adding it? and again... warranty issues?
the only difference there is to adding cruise control to a manual shift car is that you will need to add a switch to the clutch pedal assembly to deactivate the cruise control when you apply the clutch..available online if you search
the cruise control is there you have to tap into it therefore it is not necessary to spend big money on aftermarket cruise unit..by no means am I endorsing this process,it is definitely at your own risk although from what I have read people have been successful
