Question type: Car Customization

I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Corolla L Model (Base Model) and I want to
add cruise control onto it.  Has anyone does this successfully?  If so, what was
the cost? Has anyone unsuccessfully tried to install cruise control onto this
trim?

I was able to find a mechanic in the Chicago area (where I live) who added it on. This was a month ago and it has worked perfectly. It costs $500 for parts + installment and was done in an hour. If anyone has this issue in the future then just know that your general car mechanic won't know how to do this, but a shop that customizes and focuses on car upgrades/customization will be able to do it.

I purchased mine at the dealer where I bought my ‘15 Corolla. It was $280 installed. It was plug and go and took them less than 15 minutes to install. All they did was take the cover off the port on the side of steering wheel and plugged the cruise control unit in then they drilled a hole thru the cover and slid it on over the control arm.
