I have a 2007 RAV 4 that is seeping transmission fluid. It appears that no one has this problem. I drive it highway to work and have 107000 miles on it. What would cause this?

yes...well the connection to the radiator is flexible and they always use cheap- 0 butyl rubber that barely does the job...but takes the vibration from the coolant lines....it is HERE where the failure occurs...grab a tissue and inspect the connections to the radiator to find your leak~

Agree with judge roy. Also you should check all the other "rubber" hoses in the engine compartment for cracks, dryness, splitting,etc. signs that they too may need replacing; Your local weather/driving conditions may be more adverse than Toyota's "normal conditions", so faster deterioration may be noticed.

I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4, with 26000 miles on it. Its a 4 wheel drive and V6 vehicle. On Friday I came to my car and remote did not work, I manually had to open the door and engine did not start either. 2014 RAV4 only 28K miles stalled. No problems until now. I was driving slowly thru a parking lot and it just died. On the way home it shuddered a few times. This was when I was just coasting, not giving it gas. I took it to the dealership and after checking it out, including a test drive, hooking up to computer, etc, they could not find anything wrong. Nothing showed up on the computer at all. Now I am scared to death to drive it! I've used the same gas, it was almost a full tank. Also there has been a smell of gas inside the car when I get into it. They checked the fuel system, injector system and all that. Nothing. Any more ideas? 4 Answers
