i just had my caliper, rotors, break pads on the back tires for about 400.00 cause they would grind. Now when I break it sounds like it's knocking. Any ideas???

Something not put together right, take it back and have it inspected. Maybe a loose bolt(s) they forgot to torque. But why new calipers?

If you want to DIY take a tire off and see if calipers wiggle with your hand. Do one side at a time. Nothing should move. At all. And has the front ever been done? The front does 70% of stopping and wears out accordingly. You should go through 3 sets of pads on front to one rear

When I took it in it was grinding and still rubbing even when I wasn't breaking. They wanted to replace the front pads for another 200.00 but I couldn't afford it

Grinding when you are not even applying brakes is rivets gouging rotors. Trust me, I know about tight finances. Just do the front when you can
