2006 Sienna battery / electrical problem?

Asked by drumsab May 30, 2011 at 11:51 AM about the 2006 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dealership has checked battery twice and said it'd "good".  When I turn the van off but then either open up both side doors (one is powered) OR I turn the radio on for about 25 minutes and then try to start the van, it won't start.  the batter is dead and I need to jump it to get it started.

If I don't "run" anything when the van is off it starts just fine every time.
Any ideas on what the problem might be?

The Sienna is 2006? The battery is the original? If so, you should have long ago put a new battery. Usually, the original battery lasts 3 years.
