96 Buick Regal 3.8L . my electric fans seem to have issues with turning on when they should. If I were to start it. Let it idle. No fans will kick on until it gets pretty warm. Then if I turn on the ac. Then all of a sudden both fans kick on. If I dont have any ac on . Then none of the fans are on until I get nervous about the hi temp so I put the ac on. I have to keep ac on all the time to keep my engine running cool. I put in new coolant temp sensor and new thermostat

Your problem may not be a problem, the fans usually turn on a a temp that's quite high and determined by the ECM there are Two temp sensors, did you change the right one? Fans also come on with the A/C and run all the time. If you drive at hiway speeds with the A/C off does it stay cool?
