Intermittent buzzing

Asked by Viper_12213 Feb 10, 2017 at 07:06 PM about the 2007 GMC Envoy Denali 4 Dr SUV 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I get an intermittent buzzing noise accompanied by lights varying in
intensity. I never know when it's going to happen, but it seems to occur at
speeds in the 40s. It also feels as if the brakes are being applied slightly
which makes me believe this may be an ABS problem. Also, (We all need
alsos, right?), sometimes the same symptoms happen, but the stabilitrac
indicator starts flashing. By the way, this all happens on dry straight
pavement. Thanks.

I would start by having the ABS and engine codes read.

I found the problem! A friend of mine asked me to check for play in the front wheels. I turns out that I had sloppy tie rod ends, so I replaced them, never thinking that this would solve the problem, but it did!!!!! Haven't had so much as a hiccup for 2 weeks!!
