what is causing my floor on my truck to get so hot when my heater is not on

my guess, possibly heat shield is missing on catalytic converter, or a exhaust component is too close to the floor pan

Or the blend door to the heater core is not closing all the way and sending heat to the floor vents.

All these trucks do this, they bypass heat when the vent selection is off. S10, sonoma, blazer, jimmy and bravada
