Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 gmc jimmy she has
always ran like a champ but this
winter once temps dropped below 30°
outside she will not start. I don't want
to replace a bunch of parts and it not
help. I'm at a loss where to start can
anybody please walk me through
troubleshooting or if anybody else
had this problem and solved it please
help. This did not happen last winter
the only major repair that had been
done is a new intake manifold and
distributor cap.

Start at the fuel pump..their notorious. Temp may just be coincidence. If pressure is there but low at all it won't crank. my 2001 jimmy did the same thing for 6mo. Replaced many parts including looking at the fuel press. But didn't realize it was low.
