07 escape service 4x4, service brake system, ABS light on

Why does my 07 escape AWD feel as if it is binding when i back up and then
my 4x4 shift to engaged temporarily then disengaged temporarily then kick out
of 4x4 hard and service 4x4 warning stays on?

Gene answered about a year ago

Sensors are the usual suspects but you should get the vehicles checked over before something really expensive breaks. It could be deeper than just electrical.
