I seem to remember the dealers writing it down in the owners manual sometimes, but if its not there you'll probly have to go to or call the dealer or ford. Give them the VIN# for the vehicle and they should be able to look up the code for you..

It used to be that a master code was printed on the module controlling the keyless entry and Ford did a very good job of making it difficult to locate. Usually, have to pull the module. I don't really think Ford will have the code via the VIN but it's worth a try. Be prepared for the dealer to tell you that they're the only ones that can reprogram it. After all, it is a security concern.

Susan, where did you find it, please? Where is it located? How does one access it?

There should be a little card the size of a credit card inside of the owners manual that has it
