When I start my car starter seems to drag.

Do mean by drag run slow? If so check the condition of your battery and all the connections. The battery connections are important but follow the cables and make sure the connection on the other end is clean and tight as well. If this is not what you mean please be more specific I would like to help. Take care Dan
