car needs a new abs module but we dont know the exact model number needed to choose the right part

brakes are failing. to ok it to les schwab and they said they think it is the abs module because it still has some pressure. but they don't fix them anymore because they think the parts are too hard to find. i wanted to look up the vin to see if wnd the exact model number to find the right part.e could fi

Full_of_Regrets is right on. But the ABS module will not cause brake failure, yep, the dealer can get the part for you from VIN but it's an entirely different system than the regular brakes. It's an anti-skid system.
