Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car is kinda like cutting off and going back up in RPM'S around i would say 4-5K it just stops for a split second  and goes back up i went to auto zone and they scanned it for codes and they said Cylinder 5 was misfiring so i replaced the coil and it helped a little bit but im still having the problem

sounds like a bad tempature sensor , see if auto zone scanner can read engine tempature if it reads -40 ,its time for a new one . this is not the sensor for the guage its the one for the computer .

if cylinder five is misfiring still after the coil has been changed sounds like an intake leak common problem on those does the oil look like a milk shake? spray throttle body cleaner on lower intake and block mating surfaces if idle changes than u need intake gaskets
