Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Runs and drives excellent.
Cold morning hard start only occasional
At operating temp, shutdown, run into store for 10 minutes, hard restart.
Depress throttle slightly, no start, have to let it set for 10 to 15 minutes, then
starts.

how long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Over fueling with a hot engine, can cause restart problem. I'd want to see if system running rich? Letting the vehicle sit, lets the extra fuel evaporate. Just my opinion

Codes came up with PO1441 Evap, I changed the gas cap and purge valve solenoid a year ago but code came back. A new code that just showed up is PO118 Coolant Temp Sensor. This may be a result of evap / vacuum issue. It has been running rough at stop signs. If it does not get worse I am going to wait till warm weather to work on it. Also I did find another thread with over a hundred posts on this warm start issue. The basic answer from all that was the fuel pressure regulator. Thanks.

Today the car was hard to start warm. I teased the throttle a little and it finally coughed, started, rev up a bit, then settled down and ran smooth. On the 5 minutes to home the codes light went out, hardly had to touch the throttle to go 50 mph and haven't had trouble starting since. Go figure. Maybe dirt in a line somewhere popped out and the ecm reset itself.
