Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed the ignition to a non chipped ignition. After about three weeks went to to leave no juice to start. Changed the battery and car started but volt light only goes off during acceleration then the car will die after about ten minutes and no juice in the battery but lights come on. The security light is not flashing or coming on either. The alternator tested good as well.

The alternator may have tested good but the amps aren't getting to the battery. Check the wires between the alternator and starter motor. There is a fusible link at the starter end that may be open. It makes contact when the engine shifts on the mounts due to acceleration.
