Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replace fuel pump,fuel filter,fuel  pressure
regulator and put a new battery truck start when
we put gas on rag and cover the manifolday it stats
but once the rage is removed truck trunk off
what.could be goingredients on.

What size engine? You need to do a fuel pressure bleed down test. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve on top of the intake, build up fuel pressure, then with the key off, watch the gauge. Fuel pressure should not drop more than 5 lbs in 3 minutes.

Should do a fuel bleed down test, tests for leaky spider injection, & fuel lines.
