Rear end swap?

No the rears charged in 2000, you can get a kit to upgrade but keep in mind that you will also need to install a proportion valve to allow more pressure to the rear brakes. The cost foe the parts will run you about $800.00 not sure if's it worth the money for this old of a truck !
Not that easy- like Comet says, the brake system is an integrated system, front and rears have to work together- if you want better braking, upgrade the entire system, and have somebody do it who knows what they're doing- otherwise, you are risking your life-

96 Yukon had rear disk brakes n Pawsey traction rear end you can upgrade it with a 30 spline axles and see clip illuminators with just a bearing kit if you have to change your gear ratio I myself am doing this in my 95 Gmc 2500 4x4 5 sod stepbed

I have a '93 4X4 3/4 ton Suburban. It has drum brakes on the rear. I want to convert them to disc brakes, and was wondering if swapping a complete disc brake rear end would be better than using a disc brake conversion kit, keeping the existing rear end???
