Black smoke and gas in oil and using alot of fuel

I just bought a 1996 suburban 5.7 i had no idea it
had rhus problem.its getting like 8 miles per
gallon.i changed oil and found gas in oil.also black
smoke from exhaust .also wants to stall when u
start it cant put foot on gas u just have to let it
catch..its got alot of codes so cleared them and
going to start fresh .does anyone have any idea
what the gas issue is?
