No start after replacing starter

check battery cables first..charge battery LOAD TEST IT ALSO ..check all wires AND GROUNDS and to the starter.. is there the click telling you the solenoid wire is sending power down to the starter...SO IS THERE POWER TO THE LITTLE S WIRE AT THE STARTER WHEN IGN.SWITCH IS TURNED TO RUN FOR A SECOND ? AND IMPORTANT ON GM /STARTER IS IT ALIGNED/SHIMMED RIGHT..EASY TO CHECK

Turn switch to on position then unplug negative battery cable for 15 to 20 minutes then plug back on battery then start it this happens to me a few times when ever u unplug the battery ur security system need to be reset
