whats the deal with going from a 8 bolt to a 4 bolt set up when replacing an engine

ok you guys where very helpful last time here is one more i know that the
engines are the same but my tahoe engine set up has 8 bolts and the yukon
has 4 would i just use my intake manifold from my tahoe to remedy the issue

What are the year differences and are you talking the number of bolts that hold down the intake manifold? Sounds like one motor is a Vortec motor and the other a TBI set-up motor.
