Both are transmission related. Check the wiring and harness connectors from the transmission that look damaged. P1731 is related to the low coast brake solenoid, P0730 an incorrect gear ratio. I would also have your fluid checked. For condition and level, as that could effect these codes. When was the last time the trans fluid was changed?
