07 or cruiser starting issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm having intermittent issues with starting the car.
I had the same issues about 5 months ago and
they just stopped on their own. Started happening
again yesterday and now I'm worried I won't be
able to get it started at all soon.  I turn the key in
the ignition and all the electrical system comes on
fine and I believe I can hear the fuel pump whirring
but I get no crank.  Sometimes it will start on the 2
nd- 5th try of just turning the key.  Other times it
hasn't started after trying several times so I'll go
and wiggle the wires on the starter which
sometimes seemingly helps.  Any guidance would
be appreciated.

You’ve got a bad ignition switch. Easy to replace. But kinda expensive. Definitely sounds like an ignition switch though. Assuming it doesn’t try to start? It just clicks then doesn’t do anything?
