Asked by Marc Feb 14, 2018 at 05:11 PM about the 2007 Chrysler Sebring Touring Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I ran into a trailer hitch and pushed the black bar in
front of the radiator into it. Now the drivers side fan
can't spin and had to be disconnected. The other
fan works but  I am worried that the one fan won't
be enough  untill I can get it fixed. Plz help I need
my car for work. Thank you for any advice ahead of
time.

I've driven it 2 days now without the engine getting hot. It stays in the middle of hot and cold just like it normally does. But I know with the warmer weather coming up I have no choice. I'm just trying to find out if it can get me by till I get paid.

Cross your fingers and keep an eye on the temperature gauge and coolant level. New radiators are quite cheap on Amazon.

As long as the engine doesn't get hot 1 fan is fine. Just remember as the weather warms up 1 fan may not be enough.

Thanks for the responses. I found a radiator for 58 on advanced Auto parts. Some kind of special. But today I got a p0300 code when my engine light came on. It's random misfires. I'm hoping new plugs will do the trick

You can drive it with only one fan working as long as it don't overheat right then it starts to overheat then no
