While driving, sometimes when I take my foot of the gas and hit the brake then it feels like the engine jolts a little. It doesn't happen all the time but mostly happens at low speeds

Kate, the little bump or jolt you experience is likely the torque converter lockup disengaging when you coast or brake after accelerating. The lockup occurs imperceptibly when the vehicle is not under load in higher gears to eliminate slip and improve efficiency. Unless this action is pronounced or occurs erratically, there is no concern. I was told by my dealer that Chrysler transmissions learn during use, actually becoming smoother and more responsive over time. It sounds nice if actually true.
