Can a new 4cly high performance engine like the 2L supercharged from GM last me 300k+?

I've been looking into cars such as Saturn ion redline wich came with that motor. Also, the cobalt ss came with the same motor.
The newer cobalts came with turbos but i dont have that kindve money yet. I totally love the monte carlo ss, 2006 and 2007,
wich came with a huge 5.3 v8 making 300hp but i can get the same power out of a 4cly. Either car i will be doing performance
upgrades to so I was just wondering if after 250k, will a 4cly blow on me?

considering i drive the 4cly like a grandma only giving it to pass on the highway

That is purely determined by how you drive the car and how it was maintained. So no it shouldn't blow on you if it was properly maintained.
