what years for engine swap ????

I have a 1.9 dohc motor I need a short block,car  had a blown rod and
destroyed the rod and block ,I've heard any short block 1.9 will work any
one know this answer

any block will do, theyre all compatible

Single or daul cam ,or just daul ,,,exactly what yrs ???,and where could i just buy a short block assembly

91-02. All blocks are compatible. http://www.saturnwiki.net/index.php/Swap_Guide#Axles.2FCV. Go to the junkyard, pick a short block out. Just make sure the engine is fairly healthy i.e. turn the crank, listen for any random noises, or grinding. If you cant do that yourself, well i guess youll have to look online for one or see if a local yard will pull one for you. Youll have to get the block machined which will cost around 200 dollars

I want to know if a 94 Saturn engine and transmission will fit into a 95 Saturn which is a station wagon

Hey Alex I race dirt track. I won last season but these new cars are getting tuff. I race a 98 Saturn single cam manual transmission. I have a 98 dual cam auto trans for parts. Can I swop the head off dual cam to my single cam to get some edge?
