any block will do, theyre all compatible
Single or daul cam ,or just daul ,,,exactly what yrs ???,and where could i just buy a short block assembly
91-02. All blocks are compatible. http://www.saturnwiki.net/index.php/Swap_Guide#Axles.2FCV. Go to the junkyard, pick a short block out. Just make sure the engine is fairly healthy i.e. turn the crank, listen for any random noises, or grinding. If you cant do that yourself, well i guess youll have to look online for one or see if a local yard will pull one for you. Youll have to get the block machined which will cost around 200 dollars
