Undo hoses in engine compartment. Then either plug the hoses going to and from engine or attach jumper hose from one of the ports on the engine to the other one.

So pretty much any hoses going to heater core i need to block those off? The engine compartment??? I have the hose going to thermostat off. Please explain what hoses to block. The ones going into dash??
Yes. Only the two going to the dash. And if possible just reroute hoses so that they just make a loop to and from the engine where they hook up at.
