You should be able to switch to an automatic transmission on a Saturn no problem... Not sure why you would, the auto's are very weak. I went through three of them when I owned my SC2. Minus the diff pin slipping and shearing on the manuals are very strong and if you can find a Quaife differential for it somewhere, they are practically indestructible.
