I agree. Now see if there is there is coolant in the crankcase. May or may not be, either way I still think dandyoun is right. Have you noticed it get hot lately? And how about the coolant inside the radiator itself? Nice and green or the proper red/brown depending on what kind of coolant in in it? (not to be confused with rusty water)

define oily. If its a chocolate milkshake, then yeah, blown headgasket.
