Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 Saturn started using 2 quarts of oil about every 6 weeks a year ago at around 145000 miles.  Now, I have had to replace 2 oil caps that have apparently blown off.  I know each time that the caps were on tightly so it is not a loose cap issue.  Does anyone have any ideas on what this might be.  Any help would be appreciated.

Are you getting the OE cap or just universal replacements? Ive had the cheapo 5 dollar universal caps come loose.
