2000 Saturn SL2 cranks but won't start after intake cleaning

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car ran but was bucking at low throttle, I cleaned my EGR, then cleaned
my intake out, new gaskets of course. I also disconnected, and applied
dielectric grease to all electric connectors I saw, including both PCM wires,
and the one to the fuse box(bolted). I also soaked my injectors in Barrymans
for cleaning. When I went to attach my fuse box I realized from it sparking I
forgot to disconnect my battery until that point. After I get everything on, I turn
on the ignition and sit a while for the fuel to pressurize, and when I turned to
start: about 4 engine cranks sounded "normal" then it started cranking as if to
start with slight vibration. I agitatedly kept the starter going 15seconds, filling
my garage with rich smelling smoke. After this I had realized I'd leaked 50%
of my power steering revisor via a hose I pulled too hard. Could the power
steering pressure sensor cause this if leaking this severely? Could it be my
ECTS maybe, I changed my antifreeze about a month ago and the old fluid
was nasty. I had the antifreeze empty about a week from this job, thus leaving
the coolant sensor dry; they're usually crappy with these models. I also
wonder if it's my crankshaft position sensor because the car would only buck
when it got to operating temperature.

I would say go back and double-check all the things that you did like check the fuses in the fuse box all the wiring that you removed and put back on, all your connection points and go from there I just would start from the things that you did go back and Trace what you have done to see if there's any mistakes in the wiring or a fuse blown or what have you and get back to us, other than that it could be that you flooded the motor with too much gasoline or cleaning agent through the throttle body the computer should pick that up and realize the motors been flooded and do what's called a flood mode I think and it should have been chilly start regarding your power steering unit that's probably just a power steering hose line it was week or something and you need to put that back on and put fluid back in it then I was supposed to leak when you crank on the wheel at all .
