does it puddle when you run the engine or all the time? Is the smoke white? Sounds like a hose, probably the hose has a pinhole crack in it and is only leaking when the engine gets hot and the system is under pressure.

it seems to be when the car has run for awhile or sits and idles I couldn't see what was going on at the time it overheated, it was getting dark, but later went out with a light and found that (tray?) under the pcm with antifreeze pooling in it. I let the car run a few minutes and nothing happened so I'm assuming its when its under pressure. when this first happened ,the night it over heated, one thing that bothered me is I saw the smoke/steam come out next to drivers side windshield and the thermostat was just a small bit higher than normal, not even half way and then the coolant light came on. I was told 2yrs. ago that my oil was in the antifreeze or visa versa but the car still runs good. really worried, thanks so much for your time and any further advice is greatly appreciated. sheri
