Wipers and washer not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

New switch on the steering column. Got
power to the motor but no wiper action
no washer action. I guess my question is
does the washer pump work in
conjunction with the wiper motor.
Another words if the wiper motor doesn't
work should the washer motor not work?

If you have power to the wiper motor and motor not working it's probably shot. Remove the motor, bench test it to make sure, then go get another motor and install it.
