intermittent cel 1 Answer
cel is intermittent. when it happens, the dashboard controls don't work (except for gas gauge). when I pull on the hand brake handle, all controls work again. any suggestions??? thanks.

I have a 07 ranger, 6 cyl. The error code says I have a leak in the vapor system. 7 Answers
Did a smoke test and saw no leak. What's next??? Where can I get a good description of how vapor system works?? When should the canister near the rear axel open and close?

97 Ranger engine light came on. I retreived the error code and it is the EVAP system. Error code is 443 which indicated the Canister Purge Valve (Soleniod). So I replaced it but the same error code keeps returning. Any Ideas, I am confused.... Thanks 1 Answer
