Local dealer in folsom is charging 6000.dollars in labor to r and r remanufactured gm motor Labor per he is 134 per hr. I came up with 42 plus hrs. What's the scoop.

Interested in getting a 2000 tahoe z71 with 114000 miles. will use it mostly for pulling toy hauler and family outings/road trips.

hey guys Im about to but this 2008 chevy tahoe 4.8 v8 engine, the car had one owner who is an American football trainer so the guy traveled alot where he ended up putting 300,000 miles on the car. Itook it to a mechanic we checked it out with the computers and manually plus test driving it and the car had no problems at all except for the engine light being on and the problems were three things evap pressure sensor,oxygen sensor,and the fuel pump sensor other than that and the 300,000 miles the car is perfect plus he is asking 5000 for it.So my question is do you think i will have any problems with this car after i fix those three issues ? and will the car last me for 500,000 if i take good care of it? 2 Answers
