what size trailer can a 6 cyl 4.2 L 2007 Chevy Trail Blazer pull

Your owners manual will tell you. It all depends on what options your Blazer has.
What's the tongue and overall weight of your trailer? Remember, it's generally NOT a good idea to go more than 75 to 80 percent of your vehicle's capacity.
I am a disabled veteran with severe brainn injury so reading and understanding a manual.....sometimes gets too confusing and jogged in my mind that is why I asked....but to b oth of u thank u for ur help
We would need to know how your truck is equipped to say.
It would be between 5,400 and 6,500. http://www.trailerlife.com/wp- content/uploads/2012/01/Trailer-Life-Towing-Guide-2007.pdf
Mark, obviously it can't hurt to tow at under capacity but in my experience tow capacities are very conservative. I have towed at probably around 150% of capacity with no problems at all many. many times but then again I was smart about it and did not push the tow vehicle and had good trailer brakes. A smart person will add a transmission temperature gauge and maybe a rear differential gauge as well in addition to having good trailer brakes and a properly adjusted brake controller. Adding a heavy duty trans cooler and a high capacity transmission pan and differential cover also helps.
I have a 2003 trailblazer LS can I pull 30 foot camper
I used to tow a 26 foot with a one ton diesel and that was pushing it sometimes, although I live in utah where we have mountain canyons,so in my opinion, no freaking way would I tow a 30ft trailer witmy trailblazer that probably weighs 8000pounds,trsilblaser is rated to tow 5200 to 5400 pounds and I think that's pushing it for my state, however I've seen people overflowing with their minivans and end up overheating and breaking down, yes need a good trailer brake controller, those brakes on the trailblazers can barely handle the weight of the vehicle coming down steep mountain passes.
Over towing not overflowing, damn autocorrect
