Traction control warning lights

Asked by Mikey Sep 11, 2020 at 11:43 AM about the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just bought 07 trailblazer with 68K. Traction control
lamps came on after about 50 miles. Shut off,
restarted, no warning lights since-( about 30 miles).
Bad sensor? Wet from rain til motor hot enough to dry
out sensors, or maybe something else? HELP!!

Most common cause on our platform is the steering wheel position sensor. Could be one of the abs sensors on your wheel hub bearings, but more common is the SPS. If it keeps happening, park the truck and leave the steering wheel straight. Won't come on after that. If you park with wheels turned, it will light up again. Most of us live with it. I just keep my wheels straight.
