Cooling fan not coming on In idle

Hello,I have an 08 dodge grand caravan that will overheat at Idle the cooling
fan will come on when the a/c is on and the heater does blow hot air the
gauge is about halfway and the reservoir will start popping and shaking. I
have replaced temp. sensor,fan resistor,thermostat, checked all relays and
fuses...STUMPED

I guess the next step is to take it to a good mechanic-

sounds like either an air pocket causing the water pump to cavitate, or a bad water pump. Diagnosing a bad water pump can be problematic, since you can only accurately measure flow when hot. A blocked heater core could be a contributing factor as well.

I change da temperature sensor and problem solved! I had da same exact problem!

I did get it figured out! I put in a low temperature thermostat. Problem solved!
