The turn signals won’t turn after making a turn.
What should  I check for?

There should be a return spring in your steering column. It has either come loose or broke entirely. If you feel confident, tear down the upper end of the steering column to locate it and repair/replace. Be careful and respect the airbag module - disconnect the battery first and then remove the module before digging into the inside of the column.
