how do i get my aftermarket stereo to work , it will not power on even though it shows i have power

did you install it right bring the car to a gm dealer and have them take a look

all you have to do is attach the power antannae wire from the car to something on the stereo to power the bose speakers in the car. i forget exactly but they are two wires you wouldnt think to connect...but you need to to power the speakers since they are a bit more powerful than most. (and better quality) although you have probably already found this out

So you don't have any aftermarket amps or anything its just stock stuff? Basics are to check the fuses and you did that right?
