my after market stereo will not power on why

it did have a bose system, and it does showpower to wiring harness

The Bose systems are noted for not being readily compatible with aftermarket stereos. You may have to take this one to a radio shop to be sure. I have heard of this happening when trying to put a new head unit on a Bose system. I believe the amp may need to be changed also.

you have to connect the power antannae wire for the car to the system along w/ another power wire to give the speakers enough power to operate if they are bose. it is kind of a random occurance i found it but i found it and it still works great w/ no probs. you dont need to purchase any different wires or things either, it should all be there...just find the right configuration
