Bad Battery

Asked by Kaylyn Sep 10, 2018 at 07:48 PM about the 2007 Ford Fusion SEL

Question type: General

Bad Battery
Two days ago my battery died. I got a jump & it
started right up & drove fine for a day & then it died
again & again each time I was able to get a jump &
get back going until today I tried to jump it & it
wouldn't even start. Got the battery tested & it was
bad. I went & got a new (used battery that tested
good) & although it is slightly taller than my old
battery I was able to get it connected. Now my car
acts like it wants to start but won't accelerate...
When I put it in drive or reverse it will go but when I
press the gas it won't accelerate. What could this
be?
