Why does my 2007 Buick Lucerne engine make a ticking noise?

I purchased an '07 Buick Lucerne CXS w/ a NorthStar V-8 on 08/30/201. It had 59,606 miles on it. At some point I may have noticed a ticking sound from the engine. I had the oil changed three days ago using a synthetic blend of oil. This morning I drove to work at freeway speeds for thirty-five minutes.  When I pulled into a fast food drive thru  I noticed a very pronounced ticking sound from the engine. There is a Youtube video that shows a Cadillac NorthStar engine making the same identical noise as my Buick. Any ideas as to what this is and how to fix?

There is something you can try with no promises but it worked for a friend of mine that had a tapping in his engine. I changed his oil and added some Lucas Engine Oil Stabilizer and after letting it idle for about 45 minutes to an hour the tap was gone. If you do decide to try it remove the same amount from engine that is in on the bottle of stabilizer do not want to over fill.

When I got my oil changed I put the Lucas in right behind it and it's still making that noise, should I buy some more? Also will my car cut off?
