2007 vw passat

about a week ago my car just would not start it takes about 15 times or more for
me to put the key in and press the gas for my car to turn on when i drive it and
it warms up i have no problem turning the car on again but if the car cools off
and has been off for some time it wont re start this all happened when my epc
and check engine light went on my dash board.

Diagnositc scanner needs to be plugged in to give further info on whats wrong.
