I have a 94 Chevy Corsica starts but won't stay running seems to be not getting power.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When first started it just needed a jump and it be fine. So
at first I thought my battery was bad nope wasn't that then
I thought alternator nope brand new. So then I'm like fuel
injector nope still good. So yesterday u decovered the egr
system blots where lose. I haven't had the time to tighten
them yet. But could this be a reason its not getting power
to not wanting to start any more its now not turning on at
all as if there's no power at all. So since its been raining I
was going to have the spark plug wires and plugs
changed but haven't got to it with the rain. Can someone
please tell me what other things I should check

Sounds to me like a loose/dirty negative battery connection on the frame or motor. Loose egr might cause a turn over no start issue but not a no turn over at all issue.

Well at first that seem to be the problem. Took care of that and now it starts but won't stay running

If your keep your foot on the gas pedal will it stay running? If so I suspect dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate.
