How long since a tune-up? Any applicable codes? If your fully obd1 compliant you can check some codes, yourself. When problem is ongoing, make sure battery has a full charge and connections all good. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank while you check for spark at the plugs. Use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also check fuel injector pulse. An intermittent rpm signal can drive you crazy, that signal comes from crank sensor. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. I can only help with testing.
