Transmission in Park with no power and need to tow: where is the manual
override switch on a 1993 Chevrolet Corsica?

If I'm thinking correctly, the shift actuator is on top of transaxle, the shift cable goes to it. Can you take shift cable loose and shift into neutral by hand, on top of transaxle? Have a helper with foot on the brake so the vehicle doesn't get away. As far as a bypass button, I don't know? You might could use a tow bar under front end, the rear wheels are free-wheeling. Just my opinion.

Turn the ignition lock to the first click. You should be able to shift out of park now. Hope that helps! Jim
