94 impala just shut off gas flowing slow from fuel pump changed filter also put new fuel pump in ran for about 30 minutes shut off and won't crank like it did with old fuel pump ,

I ran a hose from the fuel supply line on the
fuel pump and its pumping as if it's draining
with no pressure

You will have to check the fuel pressure with a gauge to be sure. It has to be within a specified range. Either Google it or get a Haynes manual to find out the correct pressure.

I intended to put when I ran the ordinary siphon hose from the fuel pump I ran it into a 5 gallon jug just to see if it was even pumping gas and it actually wasn't like I purchased a defected fuel pump .

It sounds like the fuse is bad or the ground is bad. Something in the wiring.

LOVECHEVY YOIR ANSWER sounds more like my solution I'm going to check my fuse and see if there's a relay because that was my thought
